Harwich and Dovercourt is located in the North East Corner of the County of Essex in England. The club was founded in 1981.

Meetings are held twice per calendar month:-

On the first Thursday of each month we have a luncheon in the Marine Suite of The Cliff Hotel Dovercourt. Members meet at 12.30pm for 1.00pm lunch. Twice a year in June and December, the members bring their ladies and we also invite the widows of deceased former members. For the other luncheon meetings our lunch is followed by a talk given by a guest speaker or one of our own members.

On the third Thursday of each month we have a coffee morning in The Marine Bar Lounge of The Cliff Hotel Dovercourt - starting at 10.30am - where members discuss various topical subjects.

Members of other Probus Clubs who are visiting the area are welcome to attend our meetings. However, if you wish to come to one of our luncheons, please give the Secretary 48 hours notice.
