Henley-on-Thames Men's Probus Club The Henley-on-Thames Probus Club structures its meetings around the objective of providing a monthly opportunity to hear interesting talks on a variety of subjects followed by lunch. Our Club meets at Badgemore Park Golf Club on the second Tuesday of each month. The formal meeting starts at 11 am and after a brief piece of administration the floor is handed to a visiting speaker whose talk plus questions will last for one hour. We then adjourn to the bar whilst lunch is prepared and take lunch at 12:45 which is usually finished by 2:15 at the latest.
Members of the Club come from a wide area which includes Hurst, Twyford, Wargrave, Caversham and Dorchester-on-Thames. There is also a social programme and recent outings have included "hidden London", Bletchley Park, The Eden Project, Windsor Shopping and Theatre trip, Brooklands Museum and The London Eye.
