Born in Calicut, Kerala State, India, Ravindran (58) graduated in Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1972 . He started his professional career with Indian Aluminium Company and later worked for multi-national companies in Africa and Middle East.
After the assignments abroad, he returned to India to start his own business ventures. He is the Founder Director of Astro-Vision Futuretech Pvt. Ltd and Malayogam Pvt. Ltd. Cochin. Launching pioneering and innovative computerized astrology and matrimonial services way back in 1984, his companies have lead the growth in these sectors.
He married his wife Beena in 1977 and has a son and a daughter and two grand children. Both the son and daughter have graduated in engineering. After gaining working experience in Japan and Singapore, his son Arjun has now taken over his business interests.
After retiring from the responsibilities of day to day operations of his companies, Ravindran has shifted his focus from technical and management to Psychology and Counseling. He has completed certifications in these areas and is now a member of "Kerala Counsellors Forum". His latest passions include NLP, TA, soft-skills training, executive coaching and mentoring. His hobby interests include magic and cookery.
He has worked in Kenya, Nigeria and Syria and visited many countries including the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Sweden, Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka and China.
